The Master

All of these beautiful photos were taken in the span of one short hour! Outside the theater, inside the theater (with the worst lighting possible!), top of the parking garage to get that amazing city-scape in the back ground, and a few other locations around campus (with WAY better lighting!), and they were all taken with just my trusty Canon and one reflector.

I'm so glad I got to be a part of such a happy occasion. Congrats, Graduate! I hope that all the dreams you have been working for come true!

Old Hollywood Glamour

It's true; beautiful people do exist! The proof? All the pictures in this post.

I really wanted to do this Old Hollywood Glam shoot, so I recruited a friend to come over for a few hours and model for me. Well, it ended up being an entire day, with several wardrobe changes, lots of different props and backdrops, as well as each pose having it's own unique lighting. Talk about tough! Thank goodness for hazlenut flavored coffee creamer!

The pictures are just beautiful and she was so amazing to shoot! It certainly wasn't easy... at all, but it was definitely worth it!

Expecting

I just adore this family! And with them adding on another sweet baby boy, they just keep getting more worthy of being adored! These pictures really turned out beautifully, but nothing will be quite as beautiful as their pending bundle of joy. Congratulations guys!

Headshots

Both of these shoots were a lot of fun because I am very close to these two wonderful people. The first is the man of my dreams and the second is a very good friend who will be retiring after an impressive 23 years at the same job.

Our son was present to provide entertainment during both shoots. I got some great shots of him and his Dad together, like this one of them showing their muscles...

I don't know why he bends over when he does this. Perhaps it is because his muscles are so fierce that we couldn't handle looking directly at them.

I was also fortunate enough to snap this great image of them doing tricks...

Now, on to the real pictures of the day!

The S Family

Here is the lovely little model and her family. I was a bit nervous when they wanted to include their pets, but I would swear those dogs were born knowing how to pose for the camera! We did both indoor and outdoor pictures and I think my favorites are the outdoor.

Model

I did this shoot during photography class with a model. She was a fabulous girl with lots of attitude. I really like the way the pictures turned out. Her Mom did, too, I will be taking their family photos next weekend!

As for the editing, I was torn between leaving her beautiful freckles intact or smoothing over them so I did a mix of both and still can't decide! The freckles are fabulous!

Urban Legend

I was honored to do this shoot. It was a little scary as we were actually in some of the most urban of areas this city has to offer!
